I love New Orleans.

I always have, you can come here and be as weird as you like and nobody gives a shit.

I don’t love flying but this is the best option, nobody wants to spend twenty-two hours in a car or on a motorcycle driving through multiple states.

I’ve also packed so much stuff you’d think we were going for three months. In my defense I need all my makeup and beauty supplies so I can get Crystal ready for her big day, and I intend on going all out.

I don’t think I’ve been this excited for a long time, and it’s not just about the wedding.

I know Gunner’s been out of town, but I still haven’t heard from him all week long. After what we did and what I confessed, it feels a little chilly. I am, truth be told, a little pissed at him.

We make out, he gets to third base-sure we got interrupted- then he splits and ghosts me without even so much as a text message. Typical biker behavior, out of sight out of mind.

It’s his fault I’m even in this position to begin with.

I went to church with a date and I tried my best to give him a chance.

That was an obvious disaster, then Gunner drags me off the dance floor and devours me with his mouth and his hands. Now all I do is imagine that mouth everywhere and us in bed together every spare second I get.

It’s like now that I’ve had a real taste of him, I want more, so much more.

I even packed all my good underwear, you know, just in case. I plan on pulling out all the stops this weekend.

If Gunner wants to pass me up again and again then he can go right ahead, I’m through with playing games, he either wants me or he doesn’t.

I’m sure there’s plenty of available men at the New Orleans chapter that would look at me twice and like what they see and won’t give me the run around. Gunner can’t just drag me away from other guys if he doesn’t intend on following through himself.

I want him to do all those dirty things to me, I want him to do them all night long.

I’ve barely laid eyes on him since we boarded the plane, of course he was late as usual and almost missed the flight.

As predicted, the boys are not happy about having to drive hire cars, but Cash promised he has plenty of motorcycles in his possession for them to use when we get there.

When we arrive, there’s about a hundred bikes parked in the lot. I knew this chapter was big but hell almighty.

The clubhouse is a large, old, brick building with huge iron gates all around the perimeter. It’s in a quiet, industrial part of the business district. I guess you can make noise out here and nobody will care.
